Virginia "Ginny" Rose Mcguire

     Virginia Rose McGuire, the daughter of Gordon and Irene (Robbins) Toussaint, was born March 17, 1947 in Bellows Falls, Vermont. Her childhood years were spent in Bellows Falls, where she received her early education, graduating in 1965. She later attended Thompson School of Nursing, where she received her LPN degree.

     Virginia married Jerry McGuire on March 13, 1971 in Bellows Falls, Vermont. After their marriage, they lived in Spencer from 1971 to 1976 and later moved to Greenville, IA where they had made their home since 1977.  She worked as a Pharmacy Tech for Spencer Hospital for 27 years until her retirement in 2008.  Ginny was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She also enjoyed getting together with her friends and grandchildren as well as needlework and reading.

     She passed away at the Spencer Hospital on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at the age of 75.  Ginny was preceded in death by her father and two children: Billie Jo and Bruce in infancy.

      Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jerry McGuire of Greenville, IA; her mother, Irene Toussaint of Bellows Falls, VT; son, Patrick and his wife, Beth McGuire of Omaha, NE and their children: Riley and Kimberly McGuire; a daughter, Bonnie McGuire and wife, Leslie Jack of New York City, NY; three sisters; five brothers; other relatives and many friends.

Memorial Services will be held 10:30 A.M., Friday, June 10, 2022 at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.

Visitation will begin 6:00 P.M., Thursday, June 9th with the family present from 6 - 8:00 P.M., Thursday Evening at the Warner Funeral Home in Spencer
