Timothy Ian Myers

   Timothy Ian Myers, son of the late Irvin Dwane (Red) Myers and Ruth Francis (Hanna) Myers was born on June 18, 1953, in Spencer, Iowa.  His early childhood years were spent on a farm southwest of Ruthven, Iowa, until his parents moved to Spencer, Iowa.  After moving to Spencer, Tim enjoyed playing baseball, fishing, hunting and was in Cub Scouts. 

   Following graduation Tim decided to venture out on his own and became a truck driver.  He loved being on the road and seeing the sites of all the states throughout.  As he got older and started to slow down, he went to work for Style Craft Furniture and Speidel Flooring until his health started to decline and made him retire.

   Timothy passed away at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on February 7, 2020, at the age of 66.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

   Left to cherish his memory are two brothers:  Tom (Ann) Myers of Spencer, Iowa, and Todd (Carla) Myers of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; one sister, Sue (Rick) Brandsrud of Hartley, Iowa. 

   A very special "thank you" goes out to his partner and then best friend, Mary (Mann) Myers, for just being there when he needed you.
