Steven “Steve” Hall was born on July 22, 1950, to Glenn and Lucille (McLauglin) Hall at the Spencer Hospital. Steve lived in Webb, IA with his parents and older brother and later moved to Spencer, IA with his family.
Steve graduated from Spencer High School in 1968 and proudly served in the National Guard with honors from 1970-1977. Steve was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Spencer, IA and Spirit Lake Community Church in Winter Haven, FL.
On June 14, 1975, Steve married the love of his life, “A cute little blonde” Jeanine Ginger. To this union, two children were born, Adam Steven and Kristin Marie. Steve loved being a husband, a father, a grandpa and a friend.
Steve and “the love of his life”, loved to travel not only when their children were younger, but also as they became empty nesters. They traveled to Florida often, Las Vegas was a favorite and his late wife’s last wish was to visit Mackinac Island which Steve made sure to make happen.
Steve loved all things wheels. His Corvette, countless Hot Rods and fun cars and later in life, his orange Harley Davidson bike. You never knew when a new toy would pull into the driveway. You could often find Steve at a car show, showing, admiring and bringing home lots of trophies. Steve also had a huge love for NASCAR. His Goddaughter, Angie, surprised him with NASCAR tickets and was able to take everyone to a weekend race in Kansas City.
Steve was a family man. Always did everything he could and more for his wife and kids. Steve showed constant love and quickly taught his children the value in pranks, especially around the dinner table if you left your seat for a moment. Steve was definitely the “fun dad” who rough housed every chance he got with his children. Steve was blessed with four beautiful grandchildren. He always made sure each and everyone knew how much “grandpa loves you!”.
