Shane was born on October 27, 1970 to Lawrence Bendlin and Laura (Cunningham) Bendlin in Spencer, IA. His childhood years were spent in Spencer, where he received his education, graduating from Spencer High School in 1989. Following graduation, Shane served in the national guard for 5 years before entering the workforce. One of his many hobbies & talents was cooking, which he was most times found doing for employment alongside handy work for anyone who needed it. He was a loyal and hard worker & always willing to help.
When he wasn’t working you’d likely find him listening to music, hanging out and playing Snooker with his brothers, enjoying family time at the Bendlin farm, or watching his favorite movies. He enjoyed fishing, swimming, and pool as well.
Shane was always the first to crack a joke, one of the many reasons so many loved him. He had many friends who will miss him & his humor dearly.
Shane leaves behind 4 daughters who were his deepest treasures. They will miss him as they move forward and will hold him close in their hearts forever.
