Ryan Lee Carpenter

Ryan Lee Carpenter, the son of Roger and Sandra (Wieneke) Carpenter, was born August 10, 1977 in Spencer, Iowa. His childhood years were spent in Spencer, where he received his education in Spencer Schools and later received his GED.     

     Ryan married Andrea Kruse and to this union had four children. They later divorced. Throughout Ryan’s life, he worked at Perry Juds, Fareway, Burger King, Heartland Press, and ended his journey at Polaris in Spirit Lake and in Milford. 

     Ryan enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings play football, watching the Cubs play, watching his kids play any and all sports, and spent all of his summer weekends out on the boat with his kids. Ryan also loved to go fishing with his son, Connor. He enjoyed spending time with his family and close friends.

     Ryan passed away in Spencer, Iowa on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at the age of 43. He was preceded in death by his sister, Julie Carpenter; two grandmas, Dorothy Getting and Evalyn Wieneke; two grandpas, Francis Wieneke and George Carpenter; two uncles, Gary and Jene Carpenter; and one aunt, Blanche Hunt.

     He is survived by his four children: Morgan, Madison, Connor, and Halee Carpenter all of Spencer; his parents, Roger and Sandra Carpenter; his nephew, Shyloh Elmore; two aunts, Pam Moreno and Beverly Stave; his uncle, David Zitterich; his three cousins, Orlando, Todd, and Rick Moreno; and many friends.
