Rosella Rosacker

Rosella Rosacker, the daughter of William and Lorena Neary Fogarty was born September 20, 1931 in West Bend, IA.  She received her education and graduated from Rodman, IA in 1950.  Rosella continued her education at Omaha Business School in Omaha, NE.

     Rosella married Donald Leroy Rosacker on May 28, 1956 in Whittemore, IA.  Following their marriage, they lived and farmed around Webb, Gillette Grove, and Ayrshire.  Rosella worked at a bank and elevator in Cylinder and later at A & M Laundry for 13 years.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

     She passed away on March 14, 2021 at St. Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer at the age of 89.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; 3 sisters and 3 brothers.

     Left to cherish her memory are her sons: Pat Rosacker of Spencer, Philip (Tammy) Rosacker of Spencer, Tim Rosacker of Enid, OK and Roger Rosacker of Spencer; 3 grandchildren: Wade Rosacker, Brady (Lauren) Rosacker and Whytnee (Cole) Cooley; 3 great grandchildren: Blaire and Kaia Cooley and Jack Rosacker; brother, Martin Fogarty of Cylinder, IA; other relatives and friends.
