Rosalie Mary Huber

Rosalie Mary Huber, the daughter of Edward and Delia Ragoum Smith, was born December 1, 1923 in St. Genevieve, MO. Her childhood years were spent in Missouri, where she received her education. Rosalie married Edmund Huber on April 28, 1947 in Festus, Missouri. Following their marriage, they moved to Everly, where they farmed until their retirement. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer, where she was active with the mission group. She enjoyed quilting and growing flowers. Rosalie passed away at St. Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer, Iowa on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at the age of 84. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edmund in 1989; one sister, Zelma Bange; three brothers: Benedict, Sylvester and Joseph Smith and a step great grandchild. Left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Sandra and her husband, John Muetzel of Gilbert, AZ; one son, Jerry and his wife, Gina Huber of Spencer, IA; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; six sisters: Loretta (John) Portell of Festus, MO, Dorothy (John) Lindsey of Warrenton, MO, Imelda (Norman) Ritcher of Festus, MO, Mary (Jim) Roesch of Festus, MO, Ruth Ann Fox of Festus, MO and Ella Mae (Charles) Turley of St. Genevieve, MO; one brother, Roy and his wife, Yolanda Smith of Festus, MO; other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer. A Catholic Rosary Serice at 5:15pm and Catholic Vigil service will be held 5:30 P.M., Monday Evening at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.

VISITATION
Visitation will begin noon Monday and the family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 P.M., Monday Evening at the Warner Funeral Home in Spencer.

INTERMENT
Lone Tree Cemetery Everly, Iowa There will be a time of lunch and fellowship at Sacred Heart Catholic Church following the graveside services.
