Robert Harry Bloom, Jr.

     Robert Harry Bloom, Jr., the son of Robert Harry Bloom, Sr. and Marian (Gram) Bloom, was born on January 1, 1959, in Clinton, IA. He was raised in in New Lenox and Joliet, IL where he attended Lincolway High School.

     Robert married Crystal Wolfe on August 21, 2003 in Blair, NE. Throughout his adult life he lived in several places like Utah, Illinois, Nebraska and Iowa. He was an over the road truckdriver for almost 30 years. He also worked at Casey’s and Dyno’s as a cashier for the last 15 years. Robert loved to fish and go kayaking. He loved to shoot weapons with his friend John Rigby, but most of all he liked to spend time with his grandchildren.

     Robert passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Spencer Hospital at the age of 62. He was preceded in death by his father.

     Left to cherish his memory are his children: Jeremy Bloom and his 4 children;          Jason Bloom and his wife, Christy and their 7 children; Justin Bloom and his wife, Nicky and their 3 children; Miranda Bloom-Speight and her husband, Austin and their child; his mother, Marian Gram; his four sisters: Patty Beason, Mary Brittingham, Pamela Bloom and Linda Bloom; his 2 stepdaughters: Ashley Abbott and her 3 children and Makayla Abbott and her 5 children; other relatives and many friends.
