Richard L. Duff

     Richard L Duff, 90 of San Diego, CA passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Sharp Memorial Hospital.

     Richard, the son of James and Marie (Mortenson) Duff was born June 22, 1930 in Sioux City, IA. He was raised in Sioux City and graduated from Central High School. After graduation he attended Morningside College and Joined the United States Navy from 1949 until 1952.

     On January 17, 1958 he married Charlotte J. Kimball. Richard worked as a central regional sales manager for Prestolite and a field representative for Champion Spark Plugs. After retiring he moved to San Diego, CA.

     He is survived by his children, Rita (Earl) Woeltje of Streator, IL and Steven Duff of San Diego, CA; 3 grandchildren, Alexandria Woeltje of Fort Worth, TX, Madison (Luke) Mauldin of Rockville, MD, Josh Hoffman of San Diego, CA; his brother Jim (Pat) Duff of Sioux City, IA and his sister Bernice (David) Sperling of Omaha, NE.

     He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his granddaughter, Gabrielle Woeltje; one sister, Catherine Rinehart.
