Patricia "Pat" Oveson Miller

February 23, 1944 — April 18, 2024

Albert Lea, MN

Patricia Ann (Oveson) Miller, 80, was born of February 23, 1944 in Montevideo, MN to Olger and Elise Oveson.  Pat graduated from Clara City High School in 1962.  Following graduation, she attended the Minneapolis School of Business.

Pat met many challenges in life as a result of polio when she was two years old.   At that time, she spent one year in Sister Kenny’s Children Hospital in Minneapolis.  Pat was deeply loved by her parents, sister Sandy (Doug) Hart, niece Angie (Brian) Fassbender, their children, Sophia, Isabella, and Emma, her nephew Adam (Jillian) and their little boy, Paxton.

Pat and Sandy shared a very special, loving relationship through the years.   Pat had a beautiful smile, loved children, times spent on Diamond Lake, receiving care packages, peanut M&M’s, The Vikings, and visits from family.

Pat was proceeded in death by her beloved parents.  She peacefully passed away on April 18 at St. John’s Woodlands in Albert Lea, MN.

She will always be in our hearts and we will think of her walking and running freely in the beauty of heaven.

In lieu of flowers, donations made be directed to St. Croix Hospice in Albert Lea, 2580 Bridge Ave, Albert Lea, MN 56007.
