Pam Meier was a beloved daughter, sister, friend, and faithful servant of Christ. She passed away peacefully at the age of 68. A lifelong follower of Jesus Christ, she lived a life filled with unshakable faith.
She was a devoted member of Hope Reformed Church in Spencer, Iowa, where she not only worshiped weekly, but also led Bible studies. This inspired and encouraged many in their walk with Christ. Teaching the Word of God was one of her greatest joys, and sharing with others what she found in Jesus.
An avid reader, she found comfort, curiosity, and wonder in the pages of books. Whether it was scripture, or a novel.
Above all, she shared a deeply special bond with her beloved dog, Kodiak. More than a pet, Kodiak was her loyal companion, and a source of unconditional love. Their connection was undeniable—an unbreakable bond that brought her joy every single day.
She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her love for animals—especially dogs, and her generous heart that always found ways to serve others.
She is survived by her brother Steven Meier (Kelly Hynes Meier), nephew and niece Juston Meier (Reid Hannam), Katie Meier, cousins, many special close friends, and of course, her cherished dog Kodiak. Pam was preceded in death by her father and mother Lowell and Delores Meier.
A graveside service will be scheduled shortly. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the local animal shelter or to the church ministries she so passionately supported.
Service will be held at a future date
