Norma Jean Erickson

Jean Erickson, age 74, of Mankato, died on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at her home.
Jean was born on May 2, 1931 in Spencer, IA to Fred and Minnie (Hovinga) Taylor. She graduated from Webb High School. On May 1, 1948, Jean was united in marriage to John V. Erickson at Webb United Methodist Church. Jean was a waitress for many years in the Mankato area. She then moved to the Twin Cities and worked for 3M before retiring. She loved living in the Twin Cities and enjoyed her cabin in Brainerd. Jean enjoyed shopping, especially craft sales, traveling, and boating.
Jean is survived by her husband, John of Le Sueur; her children: Jerry of Minnesota Lake, Janet Beal of Mankato, Joan (Al) Aust of Mankato, Jeff (Toni) of Oakdale, Jody (Rebecca) of Winter Haven, FL, Joel (Kris) of North Mankato, and Jim (Leah) of Mankato; 23 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lois Sanders of Galesburg, IL.
Jean is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Joyce.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, February 20, 2006 at the Warner Chapel in Spencer
