Nikolas Ryan Harken

     Nikolas Ryan Harken was born in Spencer, Iowa to Kimberly and Bryan Harken on May 3rd, 1988.

     Growing up, Nikolas attended Spencer Public Schools. In his childhood years he enjoyed sports, creating amazing artwork, and spending time with family and friends.

      Nik was known for his sense of humor and his ability to get along with anyone. He loved his friends and family more than anything. He especially adored being an uncle to his nieces and nephew.

     Nikolas is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ben Saunders, maternal grandmother, Janelle Saunders and his aunt Kari Saunders.

     Nik is survived by his paternal grandparents Kenny and JoAnn Harken of Holland, Iowa. His loving parents Kimberly and Bryan Harken of Spencer. His sister, Shelby Haak (John) of Spencer and sister, Lynde Harken of Estherville. His nieces Gretchen, Josie, Rosalie, and nephew Harrison. As well as many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

      The family would like to share that any monetary donations made to the family will be donated to the D.A.R.E program of Spencer, Iowa in Nik’s name.
