Mindy Sue Kiepe

     Mindy Sue Kiepe the daughter of Jewell Simon, was born May 19, 1979 in Charles City, IA. Her childhood years were spent in the Dolliver and Gruver, IA areas, where she attended school and graduated from Estherville High School. She went on to attend classes at ILCC in hopes of becoming a veterinarian.

     Mindy had a fondness for all animals, big and small alike, with her favorite being horses. Her talents were devoted to anything working with animals. She was also known for her creative and artistic abilities.

     Mindy enjoyed breeding, raising and showing Quarter Horses, designing and building her flower gardens, owning a bar (Pour Judgment), riding motorcycles, and working on her projects. Above all, her true passion was her children and grandchildren.

     Mindy passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022 at her home in Sioux Rapids, IA, at the age of 43. She was preceded in death by her mother.

     Left to cherish her memory are her 4 children, Cody Klassen of Mountain Lake, MN, Feliciti (Derek) Lane of Marathon, IA, Destiny Haack of Greenville, IA, and Dakota (Brittney) Haack of Royal, IA; 3 grandchildren, Maddeleine Haack, Parker Wallace and Wade Lane; one sister, Sarah Porch; one brother, Jason Sigears; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
