Marjorie Loretta Mann, the daughter of William and Goldie Camera Ahrendson, was born February 13, 1920 in Correctionville, Iowa. She received her early education in Sioux City and graduated from Correctionville High School.
Marjorie married Raymond “Shorty” Mann on December 2, 1943, in California. Throughout the first years of their marriage, they lived in Correctionville, IA. They moved to Spencer in 1956, and Marjorie was a stay-at-home mother and later worked at Aalfs Manufacturing for 17 years.
She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Spencer and enjoyed spending time at the Spencer Senior Center. In her spare time, Marjorie enjoyed fishing, golfing, dancing and doing crafts.
Mrs. Mann passed away at her home on October 23, 2025, at the age of 105. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond “Shorty” Mann in 1989; son, Stuart “Ozzie” Mann; her twin sister, Marvel Marie Hayes and brother, Charles Ahrendson.
She is survived by her son, Brad Mann and his wife, Cindy of Spencer, IA; daughter-in-law, Linda Mann of Spencer, IA grandchildren: Darren (Raquel), Lisa (Todd), Wendy, Taylor, Elizabeth (Scott) and Christina; great grandchildren: Tyler (Ashley), Caitlyn, Cody, Sierra (Chance), Jordan, Xavery, Sophia, Miles, Owen, Dylan, Ethan, Lily, Savannah and Kathleen; great-great grandchildren: Khia, Addison, Wacey, Claire, Beckett, William, Keaton and Kameron; special niece, Jody (Don); other relatives and friends.
