Lorraine Janet Stulen

    Lorraine Stulen the daughter of John and Loree (Jones) Stulen, was born on March 5, 1937 in Dickens, Iowa. She was raised and attended school in Spencer.

     After her schooling she was a babysitter for many children over the years at her home in Dickens. She also worked in Arnolds Park at the nutty bar stand. Lorraine enjoyed gardening, baking for everyone embroidering and photography. She also liked to have coffee with her friends at Hy-Vee.  She liked to go to crafting shows with her friends and she used to volunteer out at Longhouse. But most of all she loved spending time with her nieces and nephews whenever she could.

     Lorraine passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023, at the Spencer Hospital at the age of 85. She was preceded in death by parents; her brothers: Lawrence and his wife, Becky and Myrle.

     Left to cherish her memory are her five nieces: Robin Stulen of Richfield, MN and her daughter, Lindsey and her partner, Robert Michaels of Omaha, NE and their children: Derek, Mason, Everette and Oliver; Merlene, Lori and Jeanette all of California and Tracy from Arizona; her two nephews: Kirk Stulen (Kelly) of Houston, TX and their children: Kyle and Kaitlyn and Pruit Stulen and his children: Hailey and Kyla; her sister-in-law, Sharon Stulen of AZ; other relatives and friends.
