Lloyd Theodore Senne, the son of Arthur and Elizabeth (Schwieger) Senne, was born on May 24, 1932 in Fairmont, MN.  His childhood years were spent on a farm northwest of Fairmont, MN, where he received his education, graduating from Fairmont High School in 1950. He was baptized on May 24, 1932 and confirmed in 1946 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Fairmont.

Lloyd married Rosella “Rosie” Meyer on February 21, 1954 in Welcome, MN. After their marriage, he continued farming on the family farm for 6 years until moving to Spencer, Iowa in 1960.  Lloyd worked for Spencer Foods Packing Company from 1960 to 1969 while working part time as a salesman for Electrolux.  In 1969 Lloyd went to work full-time for Electrolux becoming Branch Manager in 1970 until 1988. While Manager, Lloyd helped this Office win several Sales Cups.

Following Rosie’s death in 2010, Lloyd married Geraldine Meyer on February 13, 2012 at his home in Spencer and they continued to live there until the time of his death.
