Lisa Galm

Covington

Lisa Galm, was born August 5, 1958.  She received her early education and graduated from the Fulda High School in 1976.  Lisa continued her education at South West Minnesota State College in Marshall, MN graduating in 1981.  Following her graduation, she moved to Savannah, Georgia where she did her internship.  Lisa then made her home in Covington, GA.  She dedicated her life advocating for others and worked for Project Adventure as a counselor for numerous years. 

     Lisa married Cindy Simpson on October 12, 2013.  They made their home in Covington.  Recently, Lisa went back to college to pursue a degree in Nursing and was working at Riverside Nursing Home in Covington.  Lisa was passionate towards helping people from the youth to the elderly and additionally, her kindred spirit was evident in her love for dogs.  Lisa enjoyed horseback riding, reading and spending time with her family.

    She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Galm;  paternal grandparents: John and Mollie Galm, Merle and Katherine Ransom and maternal grandparents, Ray and Helen Kriens.

     Survivors include her loving wife, Cindy Simpson of Covington, GA; sons and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Kili, Jabbar, Jonathon, Tim, Dylan and Derrick; grandchildren: Safari, Justice and Jaion; her parents, Ray and Delores Ransom of Milford, IA; her sister, Sue (Jim) Beeck of Fulda, MN and brother, Mike Galm of Sioux Falls, SD; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

SERVICES
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Warner Chapel in Spencer.

Following the service, the family would like to invite everyone to the Milford Community Building for a luncheon.
