Karen Cross

    Karen Ann Cross was born on May 11,1943 in Emmetsburg, Iowa to Gilbert and Edythe (Kirsch) Wilbur. She grew up and graduated from Webb, Iowa.

    On February of 1962, she married Ronald Cross. To this union a son was born, Todd. They later divorced.

    Karen held many jobs but being a supervisor at Eatons was her greatest joy. After retiring, she missed working and took a job at HyVee gas station and later worked in the dining area. Karen was a hardworker and enjoyed seeing and visiting with people.

    One of her favorite things to do after she officially retired from all jobs was going to coffee with her friends several days a week.

    Karen knew alot of people and made many friends along the way. She will be missed by many.

    She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers: Leo, Butch, and Norman; 2 sisters: Eva Knudtson, and Bernadine Mead

    Left to cherish her memory her son, Todd and wife, Tracy of Spencer IA: her two sisters: Beverly Perrigo of Truesdale, IA and Myrna Bouska and husband, Ed of Laurens IA; other relatives and many friends.
