Jessie "Charlene" Craig

Jessie “Charlene” Craig was born August 1, 1930 to Jesse and Minerva Manwarren Fishburn in Spencer, Iowa.  She received her education and graduated from the Spencer High School.

     Charlene married Dwayne Craig on May 20, 1950 in Jackson, MN.  Charlene worked for WITCO for over 13 years and at Longhouse Residence until her retirement.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer.

     Charlene enjoyed Saturday night card games, dancing, spending time with the children and grandchildren and making homemade angel food cakes.

     Charlene passed away on August 16, 2021 at the Spencer Hospital at the age of 91 surrounded by her family.  She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dwayne; brother, Andrew Fishburn; sister, Helen Gamble; son, Michael Craig; grandson, Jason Craig and granddaughter, Lacey Jaye Petersen.

     Charlene is survived by her son, Norman and his wife, Sheila; 5 daughters: Kathy Decker and Mark Pierson, Karen and Dwain Wise, Cindy Boyles, Teresa and Eddy Hollesen, and Phyllis Petersen and Greg Musser; 17 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
