Janice Kay Roghair

   Janice Kay Roghair, 88, of Spencer, IA, peacefully passed away on February 5th, 2026. She was surrounded by family.

   Janice was born in Hartley, IA on April 15, 1937. Her early years were spent with her parents, Henry and Orva Jaeger, sister, Darlene, and brothers, Dennis and Dean, in Hancock, MN. Janice graduated from Hancock High School in 1954.

   She married Glen Roghair on August 30, 1957 at First Baptist Church in Spencer, IA, where they became very involved in church activities. They went on to farm for 41 years outside Royal, IA, and had 2 children, Terese and Lana. In 2000, they retired to Spencer, IA where they continued their involvement with church, community, and friends.

   She lived a life full of love, kindness, strength, humor, and faith.

   Janice was preceded in death by her parents. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Glen, daughters, Terese Kruse (Darwin) and Lana Parks (Greg), sister, Darlene Nielsen, and 2 brothers, Dennis and Dean Jaeger (Karen). She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren, Sarah Vavruska (Ryan), Brianna Kruse (Drew), Lorisa Mather (Cody), Cheyenne Osigwe (Chiedazie), and Ryan Parks, as well as 5 great grandchildren, Landon, Piper, Lawson Vavruska, and Griffin and Jettson Mather, and countless friends.
