Jane Ardyce Larson

     Jane Ardyce Larson, the daughter of Wayne and Irma (Waggoner) Pickering was born February 6, 1934 in Spencer, IA. Her childhood years were spent in the Greenville, IA area where she attended school and graduated from Greenville Rossie High School in 1951.

     Jane married Roger Larson on September 14, 1952 in Spencer, IA. Then moved to the family farm where she worked as a homemaker and bookkeeper for Roger’s veterinary clinic. They moved to Spencer, IA in 1971.

     Jane enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing, playing bridge, baking, and going to her grandchildren’s activities. Jane and Roger spent time traveling, seeing Africa, Italy, and the Southwest United States. She was a member of First Congregational Church in Spencer, and a member of Eastern Star.

     Jane passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020 at St. Luke’s Nursing Home at the age of 86. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one brother, Merlyn.

     Left to cherish her memory are her 2 sons, Jeff (Shirley) Larson of Jackson, MN and Jerry (Lori) Larson of Spencer, IA; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; a twin sister, Janice (Allan) Breidinger of Greenville, IA; other relatives; and friends.
