James Henry Glander was born Nov. 30th, 1941in Frazee, MN to Henry and Fannie (Heinonen) Glander. He spent his childhood in Perham MN before joining the army and was stationed in Zweibrucken, Germany. This is where he met Irene Grauwickel, whom he married in 1960. They raised three children. He made his home in Spencer where he worked in road construction. After retirement he moved to Dickens. Jim liked to play darts, pool and work on vehicles. He liked visiting his family in Perham where he would attend Rollag with John and Emilie, along with going on road trips together. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Jim is survived by his three children Heidi (Rob) from Cedar Rapids, IA, Mike (Lisa) from Greenville and Mark (Robin) from Spencer, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, Siblings: John, Clarence, Hank, Gary, Gene, Donald and Roger along with many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Adeline, brothers Edwin, Lowell, Tom, Kenneth, Ralph, Dale and one great granddaughter.
