Gerald 'Jerry' Naber

Gerald "Jerry" Joseph Naber, the son of William Joseph and LaBelle K. Hillman Naber, was born October 8, 1954, in Emmetsburg, Iowa. His childhood years were spent in Ayrshire, Iowa, where he received his education, graduating from Ayrshire Consolidated High School. Following graduation, he worked as a farm hand and then worked for West Bend Elevator in Ayrshire. He later moved to Spencer and worked in plant operations and served as an EMT for Spencer Hospital for 16 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer. His greatest enjoyment in life was his daughter and family and spending time watching his daughter's activities as well as participating in family activities. Jerry passed away at the Spencer Hospital on Thursday, October 25, 2007, at the age of 53. He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents: Kenneth Hillman, Fanny Gideons, William C. Naber and Helen Naber. He is survived by Jane Hoffman and their daughter, Jayden Kay Naber of Spencer; his brothers and sisters: Kathy Naber of Cedar Rapids, IA, William J. Naber, Jr. and his wife, Marcia of Spencer, IA, Donald Naber of Dickens, IA, Angie Tatman and her husband, Brian of Roundup, MT, Mary Bierman and her husband, Tim of Larrabee, IA, Jim Naber of Spencer, IA, Mike Naber and his wife, Denise of Prairie City, IA, and John Naber and his wife, Judy of Ruthven, IA; 27 nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.
SERVICES
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M, Monday, October 29, 2007 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer.

VISITATION
Visitation will begin after 3:00 p.m., Sunday and the family will be present from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M., Sunday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. There will be a Rosary at 5:00 P.M. and a Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M., Sunday evening at the church.
