George Skyler-Ellsworth Cole

     George Skyler-Ellsworth Cole, the son of Jay Cole and Elaine Tasich, was born on February 3, 1996 in Denison, IA. He received his early education in Dunlap and then moved to Spencer where he finished his schooling and graduating from Clay Central in Everly. Following graduation, he worked for Mediacom and Quail Construction in Spencer then  Tommy Gate in Woodbine. He then moved to Westdale, IA, where he worked for AT&T as a retail store manager in Cedar Rapids. He was in the process of moving to Spencer, when the accident occurred. George enjoyed working with computers, and fishing. He was also very fond of his Pontiac Firebird.

     George passed away on Friday, May 29, 2020, at the Spencer Hospital following injuries he sustained in a car accident. He was preceded in death by his father, Jay; his grandfather, LeRoy Cole; his great grandparents: George and Bernice Summerfield and George and Janet Tasich and his stepsister, Shaleigh Donovan.

     Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Elaine Norgart of Charter Oak, IA; his paternal grandmother, Deanne Cole of  Mountain Home, ID;       his maternal grandparents, Dave and Peggy Tasich of Dunlap, IA; his brother, Austin (Ali) Tasich of Schleswig, IA and their children: Ryley James, Coral, Emma Gene, Aaron, Asher and Aven; sisters: Brittni Baker of Omaha, NE and Liberty Norgart of Perry, IA; three half-brothers: Ren (Jessica) Norgart of Dunlap, IA and their children: Emmersyn, Braelynn, Analeigh, Kennidee and Kingston and Cody (Melissa) Norgart of Spencer and their children:  Cooper and Alivia; Josh (Elizabeth) Norgart of OK; his half-sister, Briena Bennett of Fort Dodge, IA; his aunts and uncles: Yovan Tasich and Angie of Dunlap, IA and their children: Katie Tasich of Chapin, SC and Mary Jane Tasich of Dunlap, IA, Ryne (Teri) Cole and   Brenda (Tim) Stanton both of Mountain Home, ID, Doug Cole of Enid, OK, Jill (Stan) Simonsen of Runnells, IA and Chad (Kim) of Windsor Heights, IA; Jay’s significant other, Rhonda Hintz of Spencer, IA; sister, Leah Eldridge (Drew) of Spencer and her family, Mercedes, Paxton and Crew; her brother, Mitchell Myers of Spencer, IA; other relatives and friends.
