Gary Lee Enderson, the son of Duane and Carol (Krull) Enderson, was born on January 12, 1973, in Spencer, Iowa. He was raised and attended school here, graduating from Spencer High School in 1991. While in high school, he played football as an offensive and defensive tackle. He played in the 1990 Runner-up Championship Game. He was named 1st Team All State Offensive Lineman. After graduation, he worked at Toft Tree Farm, Mauer Manufacturing and Lakes Propane Gas Co. and later Great Plains Elevator. He also installed flooring for Shawn Pingel, for several years.
On April 8, 2011, Gary married Lacy Halverson. To this union a daughter was born, Sadie Mae, on March 15, 2013. They later divorced. Gary enjoyed hunting and fishing and watching Hawkeye Sports. Gary was an affable guy who loved to tease his friends and family and Gary had a special bond with the Getting Family.
Gary passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at his home, at the age of 49. He was preceded in death by his father, Duane Enderson; his grandparents, Alvin and Henrietta Krull and Donald and Bernice Enderson; his birth father, Glen Wetherell and his wife, Noreen and other relatives.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Sadie Enderson; his mother, Carol Boltjes and her husband, Lee; his sister, Jennifer Bradburn and her husband, Chris and their children: Cate and Allie; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
