Esther Blanche Norris

     Esther Blanche Weisbrod Norris, age 95, died June 21, 2020 in Stillwater, Minnesota.  She was born January 11, 1925 to George and Minnie Alice Tatro Weisbrod at the farm home near Rossie, Iowa.  She attended Rossie Consolidated School. She was baptized by Rev. George P. Dainty and received the Holy Ghost July 1937 when she was 12 years old.  She attended Apostolic Bible Institute in St. Paul, MN in 1943 for a semester.  She kept house for her grandfather Tatro and Aunt, Hazel Tatro until his death in 1945.  She married Charles Arthur Norris on March 26, 1945 in the United Pentecostal Church parsonage in Spencer by Rev. Lloyd Hodges.

     They had three children: Jean, Janet and Kevin Norris.  Jean and her husband Gordon Larson live in Hammond Wisconsin.  Janet was deceased April 14,1988. Kevin and his wife Barbara live in Hammond Wisconsin.

     Esther enjoyed geneology and doing research for family history.  She published the Weisbrod Family History book and helped research the United Pentecostal Church history with Sister Dorothy Hodges.

     Esther’s husband Charles preceded her in death June 28, 2005 in Hudson, Wisconsin.  Also her parents and five brothers, Archie, Donald, Forrest, Aubrey, Marvin and sister Phyllis Evans, leaving to mourn Jean and her family, Janet’s two girls Jennifer and Heather and Kevin and family.  There are 7 grandchildren and their spouses: Frank and Kelly Gerga, Ben Larson, Jennifer McGlade and Tessa, Heather Byrne and Wyatt, Jeremy and Lana Sanders and their six sons, Jake, Brennan, Caleb, Keegan, Michael and Landon; Laramie Loeding and Cloe Loeding, Katy and David Dehmlow and Annora, nephews and nieces and cousins and friends.
