Donna Jean Klungseth

Donna Jean Witt Klungseth was born in Remsen, IA on April 24, 1944 to Glenn and Dorothy (Klingbeil) Witt. Her childhood years were spent in the Cherokee, IA area where she attended school and graduated from Washington High School. After high school, Donna went to business school in Sioux City, IA.

Donna’s working years were spent in Wisconsin. Upon retirement she returned to Northwest Iowa. She loved watching all forms of wildlife. During harsh winters, she would brave the weather to feed hundreds of pounds of corn to pheasants in need. Most of all Donna loved her many cats, often feeding them home cooked breakfast.

Donna passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at her home, at the age of 81. She was preceded in death by her parents Glenn Witt and Dorothy Klingbeil Carlson.

Donna is survived by her brother Dale (Sandra) Witt of Spencer, IA; 3 nephews, Travis (Natalie), Todd (Maggie) and Trent Witt; several great-nieces and great-nephews.
