Dennis Blume

Dennis Blume, 80, passed away on September 28th, 2025 at the Spencer Post-Acute Rehabilitation Center.

Dennis Blume married Juliana Jensen on May 30th, 1965 in Battle Creek, Iowa. They lived in Cushing, Iowa for 30 years while raising fours sons; Kelly, Todd, Jared, and Dustin,

The last 25 years were spent in their home in Spencer. Dennis worked at Gomaco & Bobalee from 1985 until his retirement in 2015. After his retirement, Dennis enjoyed wood working, landscaping, and going to any kind of water for some fishing. You would also see him spending as much time with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his dog Scooby.

He will be loved and remembered by his loving wife of 60 years Julie; his sons Kelly (Amanda), Todd (Marly), Dustin (Jamie) all of Spencer, and Jared (Beth) of Hurricane, UT; Nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Dennis was proceeded in death by infant Dennis, Jr.; parents Edgar and Rosalie; one brother Marvin; his in-laws Jens and Florence Jensen; brother-in-law’s Everett and Randy Jensen; sister-in-law Rosella Mitchell.

A graveside service will be at a later date.
