Darrell Leon Marble

   Darrell Leon Marble was born on October 30, 1948 in Spencer, Iowa. He graduated from Spencer High School in 1968. He wanted to join the military but was not permitted, due to having Hodgkins in his younger years.

   Darrell lived much of his adult life in Hartley working at PM Packing Plant. When Darrell wasn’t working, he kept busy with playing golf and mowing yards for many residents in the Hartley area. His love of Harley Davidson Motorcycles and NASCAR kept him busy as well. Darrell met Barbara LaCour when she became his neighbor in Hartley. They were by each other’s side since 1999. Barb passed in 2025 and now Darrell will be laid to rest right next to her. Together Again❤️!

   Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Shirley Marble; his sister, Barb (Burryl) Campbell and his soulmate, Barbara LaCour.

   Left to cherish his memory are his bonus daughter, Tammie (Andy) Corbett; 3 grandchildren; two nieces and many beloved friends.
