Darleen Loraine Feddersen

Darleen Loraine Feddersen, the daughter of Walter and Irene (Devine) Schreiber, was born September 21, 1947 in Algona, Iowa.  Her childhood years were spent in Armstrong, Iowa, where she received her education, graduating from Armstrong High School in 1965. 

     Darleen married Lynn Feddersen on August 17, 1965 in Armstrong, Iowa.  After their marriage, they farmed in the Ringsted, Iowa area.  In 1971, they moved to Spencer, Iowa, where she worked at St. Luke Lutheran Home and was an aide for the Headstart Preschool Program, until her retirement after 32 years.  She was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she was a member of Catholic Daughters.  She loved children and most importantly loved being a wife, mother and grandmother.

     She passed away at St. Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer, Iowa on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the age of 70.  Darleen was preceded in death by her parents.

      Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Lynn of Spencer; one son, Terrance Feddersen and his wife, Karen of  Belle Plaine, MN; two daughters: Lisa Dairy and her husband, Ty of Canton, SD and Tracy (Brent) Chessen of Belle Plaine, MN; seven grandsons; her siblings: Kathleen (Arden) Hoffman of Pine Island, MN, Arleene Malafarina of Fairmont, MN, Robert (Sharon) Schreiber of The Villages, Florida, Richard (Mary Lou) Schreiber of Litchfield Park, MN, Russell (Lola) Schreiber of Scottsdale, AZ and Eileen Mary (Robert) Millette of Fairmont, MN; other relatives and many friends.
