Connie Rose Sorbe

Connie Rose Sorbe the daughter of, Maurice and Rose (Rollenhagen) Campbell, was born on November 15, 1945 in Storm Lake, Iowa. She was raised and received her early education in Albert City, IA.

    On July 11, 1965, Connie married Walter Charles “Chuck” Sorbe at the United Methodist Church near Newell, Iowa. Following their marriage, they farmed in the Albert City area while Connie worked for Buena Vista College. In 1973, they moved to Spencer where Connie and Chuck lived and worked until Chucks passing in 1987. Connie continued to live in Spencer while raising her two children. 

   Connie enjoyed playing golf, traveling, and was involved in Beta Sigma Phi XiDelta Sorority. She liked to bake goodies, but most of all she loved spending time with friends and family especially her grandchildren.

    Connie passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Ava’s House in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at the age of 76.

    Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Cyra Stucky and her husband, Craig of Mitchell, SD and their children: Cassidy of Scottsdale, AZ and Carter of Mankato, MN; her son, Christopher Sorbe; one sister, Marlene Mahoney of Mason City, IA; other relatives and countless friends.






SERVICES
Funeral Services will be 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at the Warner Chapel in Spencer.

VISITATION
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
