Clifton "Ike" Ray Albrecht

August 23, 1938 — November 12, 2021

     Clifton “Ike” Ray Albrecht, was born August 23, 1938 in Odebolt, Iowa, to Clifford and Henrietta (Miller) Albrecht.  He served as a field medic in the Iowa National Guard.  On September 2, 1962, he married Carolyn Lee Juhl in Marcus, Iowa.  This union was blessed with two children: Brian and Jason.  Ike was employed with Spencer Construction, Clay County Secondary Roads Department, and the Clay County Fairgrounds.  He was a longtime member of the Bethany Lutheran Church.

     Ike loved his family and was dedicated to their well-being.  He loved fixing anything around the house and was a handyman to anyone who needed help.  He enjoyed gardening and watching the wildlife in his backyard.

     Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; two sons: Brian (Mindy) Albrecht of Sheldon, Iowa, and Jason (Kelli) Albrecht of Spencer, Iowa; two grandchildren: Alexander Albrecht and Ashlyn Albrecht, both of Sheldon, Iowa; two sisters: Dorothy Sweeden of Arthur, Iowa, and Lois Grote of Wall Lake, Iowa; and brother-in-law, Eugene Mau of Odebolt, Iowa.

     He was preceded in death by his parents; infant brother, Robert; siblings, Lola (Gilbert) Marron, Della Jean Mau, and Raymond (June) Albrecht; and brother-in-law, Ross Sweeden and Leo Grote.

SERVICES
Memorial Services will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, November 19, 2021 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Spencer.

VISITATION
Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
