Brian Keith Rittenhouse

Brian Keith Rittenhouse, the son of Michael Rittenhouse and Barb Baysinger, was born March 10, 1963 in Heidelberg, Germany.  Brian grew up and received his education in Spencer, Iowa.

     Brian married Lauri Ostermann in July of 1983.  In August of 1987, Brian married Kay Determan.  Brian worked for Old Home and for 15 years, he lived with Shelly Wurm.

     In his spare time, Brian enjoyed being in Darts and Pool Leagues, taking long motorcycle rides, watching NASCAR, Dirt track and figure 8 races and playing video games with his family and friends.  Most of all, Brian loved spending time with his family.

     Brian passed away at his home on March 3, 2019 at the age of 55.  He is preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Cyral and Thelma Baysinger.

     He is survived by his children: Josh (Ceselie) Rittenhouse of Royal, IA, Amber Rittenhouse of Maple Valley, WA, Ashley Bell of Maple Valley, WA, Vanessa Newcomb (Brent) of Spencer, IA, Kelly DePew (Kenny) of Spencer, IA, Cody Wurm (Sarah Heinrichs) of Spencer, IA and Kasey Wurm of Milford, IA; 11 grandchildren; sisters: Cheri Crouch, Trisha Quail and Michelle Rittenhouse; other relatives and friends.
