Betty June Hollander

Betty June Hollander, 95, of Spencer passed away peacefully with her family on January 6, 2024. Betty was born on October 25, 1928 to Nels and Anna Ruby Nelson.  Betty lived her early years in Ayrshire, Iowa.

On October of 1946, Betty united in marriage to Amos Hollander in Worthington, MN.  With this marriage they were blessed with six children.   Betty worked as a Home Helper from 1983 until she retired in 1992 and helped on the farm in Moneta, Everly, and in Spencer.  She was also a member of the First Christian Church in Spencer.  In Betty’s free time she enjoyed fishing, playing cards and embroidering.  

Left to cherish her memory are her children June Miller, Nels (Shirley), and Daniel (Connie); Richard Miller; 14 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. 

Betty was preceded in death by parents, her husband Amos, sons Raymond, Dale, and Marvin; sisters Frances Edwards, Mae Crawford, and Martha Gadd, and grandchild Cody Conner.

The family will have a private at a later date.
