Adrienne Corrine Crouch

Adrienne Corrine (Koll) Crouch, daughter of John and Lora (Cave) Koll, was born on December 8, 1926 in Persia, IA. She died on March 2, 2026 at the St. Luke’s Nursing home at the age of 99.

Adrienne studied nursing through the Cadet Nursing Corp, graduating on February 11, 1948. She married Robert Laverne Crouch on April 24, 1949 and they made Council Bluffs, IA their home until 1961 when they moved to Spencer, IA.

Adrienne worked at the Spencer Municipal Hospital, working overnights so that she could care for her family during the day. She worked in ICU and also in the emergency room for many years until her retirement at age 65.

After retirement she and Robert spent time with family and traveling. They loved to go out west to San Diego and Las Vegas to spend time with sons Michael, Richard and David. They loved their many grandchildren and spent as much time as they could with them. Looking forward to visits and also trips to see family.

Adrienne was an accomplished seamstress and quilter. She made many of the dresses and outfits she wore for church and other occasions along with making her own wedding dress. She also loved making clothes for daughter Julie when she was a child and also for her granddaughters Venessa and Veronica. Quilting was a passion along with cross-stitch and knitting.

She was devoted to the church, member of the First English Lutheran Church in Spencer. She made many quilts for church missions along with sewing on name labels at St Luke’s Nursing home for residents. She also was a member of the choir and loved doing that. Being part of the church was very important to her and she helped with Ladies guild, prayer team and anywhere that she could.

Adrienne is survived by her children; sons Michael (Junko) Crouch, Roger Crouch, Richard (Rosi) Crouch, Daniel (Jeannie) Crouch, David (Angela) Crouch and daughter Julie (Steven) Arneson. Grandchildren: Venessa, Veronica, Matthew, Jessica, Jessica, Sean, Amber, Ben, Jiansen, Gabrielle, Scott, & Cory and many great-grandchildren also. She is also survived by her sister Janet (Dennis) Frazier.

Adrienne is preceded in death by her husband Robert, daughter Patricia, parents John and Lora Koll, twin sister Vivienne and brother-in-law Elmer Steenbock, brothers Ramon and sister-in-law Sarah Koll and brother Kenneth and sister-in-law Shirley Koll.

Adrienne was a beloved Mom and Grandmother and will be missed by her family. She is at peace and at home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
