“Dale, Diane and Dan,
You and your families have my deepest sympathies for the passing of your Mom and Grandma. Where has the time gone? I remember the family reunions beginning at Grandpa Schultz's house, then aunts and uncle's houses the the summer get-togethers in Lester Prairie. We cousins had so much fun! I remember your Mom bringing the cards she made and letting us make some. I enjoyed it so much I bought paper, stamps, etc. so I could make them at home. I remember Dale and Kriste's wedding in the beautiful college church and how much fun everyone had at the reception and dance. It was just yesterday, right! I miss those days and hope everyone is well. Again, we are so sorry to hear of Aunt Marcene's passing. Love to all. ”

“We are so surprised and saddened to hear of Marcene’s passing! Marcene was full of hugs and smiles when we visited with her at this year’s Clay County Fair. She had made her annual trip to her Farm Toy Show in Minnesota and said she was feeling good and just enjoying life. She was so proud of how Corey was doing and as always full of praise for all of her family. Marcene was going to call as soon as she found some time to bake her delicious poppy seed bread for us.
Marcene was such an active member of Bethany Lutheran for years., willing to step up and help where ever she was needed. Always so giving of her time and talents. Hugs and prayers for her family.

“I first came to know Marcene while going through the checkout at ShopKo. :) Through our conversations there I learned we had another stronger connection... Via de Cristo at Okoboji Lutheran Bible Camp. She was so kind, friendly, and encouraging that I will always hold a soft spot in my heart for her. My sympathy to Marcene's family and close friends. She has earned her heavenly reward for a life well lived.”

“My sincerest condolences to Marcene's family. I grew up seeing Marcene and Cliff at church, camping and around the community with my parents. Then worked at Shopko with Marcene back when I was in high school and college. She was always kind and willing to help if I had a question and always waved hello. Peace to all. - Kim”
